Wind in Pines © MP3
Wind in Pines © features the sound of strong breezes stirring through treetops. The air is alive and vibrant. The tree needles and branches modulate the blowing wind and become alive with dance and song. It is a cleansing time as well, because old needles and branchlets are offered to the winds. The forest is dense with towering pines and firs that soar shoulder to shoulder. The floor is carpeted with soft, springy, emerald moss that is 8 inches thick. It softens the step, as well as the sound. Different qualities of sounds filter down from each level above to create an enchanting sound. "When I was a fish Wind in Pines © features a long fade-in at the beginning and a slow fade-out at the end, so there are no sudden disturbing changes in sound volume when played looped. Wind in Pines © is a natural soundscape composed of edited and mixed digital stereo quasi-binaural field recordings. This recording technique produces a 3 dimensional audio image when listening with headphones. Encoded at a bitrate of 192 kps for quality listening.
