Sticky Cricket Sleep © MP3
"Sticky Cricket Sleep" © is designed to provide the auditory stimulus that winter and urban living lacks, to help people find their "organic grounding" that they seem to lose in the winter months. The rhythmic elements are complimented by a randomness that is relaxing, soothing and refreshing. This combination best stimulates the auditory sense, while the lack of bass frequencies means it won't distract the attention. These characteristics also make this CD ideal as an aid to meditation, to give relief to depression and stress, and to aid insomniacs and light sleepers. When played in the background, the peaceful sounds of a summer night brings an organic grounding to one's self. Sticky Cricket Sleep © is a specially produced one hour-long or two hour-long version of "A Sticky Cricket" from the CD "Crickets Calming" meant to be used as a background ambience for sleeping. A Sticky Cricket was recorded on a wet dewy misty night. Up above a moon is surrounded by high hazy clouds. A number of different insect calls fade in and out which create slow waves of varying textures. This song features a long fade-in at the beginning and a slow fade-out at the end, so there are no sudden disturbing changes in soumd volume when played looped. Sticky Cricket Sleep © is a natural soundscape composed of edited digital stereo quasi-binaural field recordings. This recording technique produces a 3 dimensional audio image when listening with headphones. Encoded at a bitrate of 192 kps for quality listening.

All the files are in mp3 format. If you have a slower internet connection, when you are downloading you will experience a stuttering playback. There are two ways around this. The first way is to turn down the volume on your media player and let it download the whole file, then play it. The other option is to right–click the link to the mp3 file and choose the "save target as" option in the pop–up menu. Choose a place to save it, (Some place that you will remember!) and your computer will download it and tell you when the download is complete.
