![]() Wild Turkey Gobble © MP3Well, after surviving the Blue Jays a la Alfred Hitchcock, described in the paragraph above, I DID get good wild turkey recordings. Although they did visit the feeding station daily, it soon became apparent that they would stay only about 5 to 10 minutes per visit before moving on. As weather permitted, I recorded them over the month of May before I felt I had enough quality turkey material. I hope next spring to get a picture of a tom strutting his spring display. Digital field recording using a binaural microphone baffle. The gobble has to be the funniest thing to hear! I have yet to see someone listen to this and not break into a smile!
