Brook sounds © features the sounds of a gentle spring brook bubbling along the forest floor. In the recording, the water flows from left to right through the trees. A variety of spring birds may be heard in the background, including, chickadees, nuthatches, hairy woodpeckers, blue jays, robins and others, however the main focus of the recording is the brook. Perfect for relaxation, or to create a forest ambience.
Brook Sounds © was recorded in a mixed forest of hardwoods and softwoods in an area with numerous wetlands. The recording features a long 10 second fade-in at the beginning and slow 10 second fade-out at the end so there are no sudden disturbing interruptions when played looped. Brook Sounds © is a natural soundscape composed of edited digital quasi-binaural field recordings. This recording technique produces a 3 dimensional audio image when listening with headphones.
